The exterior is all black, and matches the exact dimensions of OP–1 field. A distinct grayscale gradient is at its center, making it clear that OP–XY is all about serious sequencing. hands-on graphics on the high-resolution display are all grayscale, with a bright red to indicate recording and parameter locks. All vital keys have leds to stay in full control.
